Hello, I'm Chris Parker

I am a Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified SAFe Practitioner and work to facilitate Agile Scrum Process within software development departments. Maintain a working knowledge of building and maintaining product backlogs individually or coaching product owners. I strive to help development team’s achieve maximum velocity and product owner’s maximum efficiency.

My development background allows me to relate to the scrum development team and I continue to educate myself on development practices. I have a working knowledge of C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, JQuery & Javascript, WebApi, iOS Xamarin Development, etc.. Additionally, I have a good working knowledge of Atlassian Jira & Service Desk management applications.

Responsible for implementing and facilitating the scrum process within the IT department. Manager of multiple scrum boards, coaching the process for two development teams and one marketing team. Worked with Product Owners on product backlog priorities and organizing sprint logs. Facilitate stand up meetings daily in person or via skype/phone when remote. This process is facilitated using Atlassian Jira software, cloud version.

Manage a dedicated and distributed team (L.A., Dallas & Atlanta) of volunteers dedicated to producing an entertainment and lifestyle magazine entitled “Indie Source Magazine” (www.indiesourcemag.com). Utilizing Scrum process I manage the development of both the digital magazine (various formats) and iOS mobile application created using Xamarin, C# and WebApi. Both teams, one development and one creative, utilize Atlassian Jira cloud to facilitate the scrum agile process.

Lead teams in development of various internal and external facing web applications using Scrum/Agile facilitated by Jira application installed on local running servers. All applications used a combination of Visual Studio 2010/2012, MVC 3/4, JQuery and SQL Server 2008. I developed a number of Plug-ins and iFrame extensions to incorporate custom business functionality within Microsoft CRM 4.0. Developed SSIS packages to transform data between databases.

Develop and updated physician roster external facing website functionality using VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2005. Updated other various internal use applications, created Telerik reports of physician roster application to be used as paper print out or PDF saving.
